Theme is based on ancient Indian game, game of lagori.
Robocon LDCE
We are Team Robocon LDCE, the members of Team Robocon LDCE represent L.D. College of Engineering and compete in the DD National Robocon and ABU International Robocon.
We intend to advance the technology that powers our robots in the forthcoming years and raise the standard. Our daily efforts are directed toward winning the ABU Robocon, the World Championship.
In India, more than 80 top colleges including IITs, NITs, IIITS, BITS, etc. take part in this contest. LD College of Engineering has been able to make it's impact at the contest very effectively since 2004. Following this, we have a track record of qualifying in the top 10 list in the nationals.
ABU Robocon
The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) is an Asian-Oceanian college robot competition, founded in 2002 by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. In the competition robots compete to complete a task (decided by host country) within a set period of time. The contest aims to create friendship among young people with similar interests who will lead their countries in the 21st century, as well as help advance engineering and broadcasting technologies in the region. The event is broadcast in many countries through ABU member broadcasters.
